Internal Wholesaler - Annuity Distribution

The Opportunity

We're building a dynamic team of Internal Wholesalers to drive annuity sales through third-party distributors. In this role, you'll focus on growing and strengthening relationships within a dedicated territory, working with banks, credit unions, wirehouses, national and regional broker-dealers, and independent broker-dealers. Partnering closely with an External Wholesaler, you'll be responsible for driving sales, increasing market penetration, and expanding the diversity of annuity products sold. Your Impact

As an Internal Wholesaler - Annuity Distribution, you'll play a critical role in driving sales and supporting financial professionals. Your key responsibilities will include:

Proactively engaging financial professionals to provide pre- and post-sale annuity product support and respond to inquiries.
Managing your territory strategically to maximize sales opportunities and deepen relationships with banks, credit unions, wirehouses, and broker-dealers.
Collaborating with your External Wholesaler to drive sales success while leveraging tools like Salesforce, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, illustration software, and financial planning platforms.
Developing deep expertise in annuity products, riders, and sales strategies while staying informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key distributors to support sales growth.
Traveling occasionally with your External Wholesaler to strengthen territory relationships and gain market insights.
Supporting additional sales-related initiatives as needed.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

FINRA Series 6 or 7 license (must be active at the time of application).
State Securities License (Series 63) and State Life & Health Insurance License (both required at the time of application).
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in financial services or a related field.
3+ years of sales or sales support experience with annuity products.
2+ years of experience working with annuity solutions within financial institutions (banks, credit unions, broker-dealers, etc.).
Experience using a contact management system (e.g., Salesforce).

Ideal Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in financial services.
4+ years of sales or sales support experience with annuity products.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to present confidently to various audiences in virtual settings.
Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Passion for building and growing strong business relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and Salesforce.
Deep knowledge of annuity products (fixed, income, variable annuities) and industry best practices.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $70,000 - $85,000
Total compensation potential: $100,000 - $125,000 (including sales-based incentives)
