The Software Development Engineer - Data will supervise a team of Senior Data Engineers and will be responsible for engineering scalable data pipelines, evolving datasets, and building data solutions that align with Apple Cloud Services' needs. Responsibilities: • Supervise 4 Senior Data Engineers. • Engineer efficient, adaptable and scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data. • Own and evolve rich datasets on Apple cloud products and platform interactions to power a wide variety of use cases. • Build forward-looking data solutions that interface well with existing systems and use judgement to bring cutting edge technologies in the industry to suit Apple Cloud Services’ needs. • Understand how key technical decisions will drive business outcomes and deliver/aid data frameworks and platforms that improve delivery with high-quality to those outcomes by partnering with cross functional teams. Qualifications: Required: • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. • Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Apache Spark • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Hive • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Presto • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: SQL • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: ETL Design • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Data Modeling • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Data Governance • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Product Analytics • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: Java Company: Apple is a technology company that designs, manufactures, and markets consumer electronics, personal computers, and software.
