Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

Responsibilities

Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment, and assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
Maintain accurate daily sterilization and testing logs.
Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
Wrap trays, or assembles containers correctly with sterility indicators in place.
Verify equipment functions, and submit tickets for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the OR Manager or Sterile Processing Lead Tech.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
BLS Certification
CRCST certification within one year from the date of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

Experience in sterile processing
